Indian Post Office gave this reaction on the message
Ministry of Communication. Under this, the Department of Post has informed the users about a scam through its official account on the X platform. A phishing message is falsely claiming that India Post is giving new iPhone 15 to lucky winners.
India Post has tweeted saying, “please be careful! India Post does not give any kind of gift through any unofficial portal or link. For any information related to India Post please visit the official website.. Indiapost.gov.in.”
Indian Post Office has also included a screenshot of the viral message in its advisory, in which it has been claimed that a person will get iPhone 15 as a gift during Navratri. Also, while giving instructions in the message, it has been said that if this message is shared with 5 groups or 20 friends on WhatsApp, you will get a link. On clicking which the gift can be claimed.
