Ingredients
Ottitunakas – one cup
Onion – one >
Green chillies – three
Ginger garlic paste – two spoons
Chili – one spoon
Yellow – Quarter Spoon
Coriander – Half Bunch
Garam Masala – One Spoon
Tomato – one
Cloves – two
Cinnamon – small piece
Preparation as
Add water in a bowl and heat it well. After the water gets very hot, soak the bare cloths in that water. After a while they become soft. Now put the kalai on the stove and add oil. When the oil heats up, add cloves and cinnamon and fry. Then add green chillies and onion and fry well. Add ginger garlic paste and mix it. Add tomato paste and mix well. Add turmeric, chilli and salt to the mixture and mix well. Now add the dry cloth soaked in water first and mix well. Add some water and cover and cook. At the end add garam masala powder and mix. Sprinkle coriander five minutes before serving. That’s it, Otti Tunaka curry is ready. Chicken or mutton as the base…whatever you choose is up to you. It is also known as dry crumb curry.
